Hello, World from the blog of Jessica Rockwell Portrait Artist! I’m starting it with a portrait of a little boy at the beach. Yes, he is a cutie pie. He also gave me his full cooperation to be photographed for my reference shots. Here’s another really wonderful thing about this portrait. This is the last of 6 grandchildren that I painted for his grandmother. I painted most of them at the age of 3. However, this one got to be 5 before the family came from Colorado to my Clearwater studio. I will show you all of them in my upcoming blog. I plan to tell the back stories of what happened behind each portrait. Everyone of them is worth remembering. See you soon!
